Former Miss World 2000 & Bollywood’s most succesfull actress Priyanka Chopra seems to have ignited a feverish discussion in the tabloids on the most fitting groom for her. According the close sources, Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra has suggested that her parents search for a Punjabi munda. This suggestion may be dubbed as a signal of the narrow-mindedness in her.
According to the latest bollywood news, there are two men, whom the tabloids deem are capable of meeting the criteria put forth by Priyanka Chopra. Shahid Kapoor is one of them, who, it has been whispered, has been in a romantic relationship with Priyanka. Interestingly, none of the two have ever bothered to verify the status of their bond. Ranbir Kapoor, another Bollywood superstar, who springs from the illustrious Kapoor family, is the other suitable contender. The sparkling chemistry between him and Priyanka in their latest film, ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, was rather pleasing and was perceived. But he could be in a relationship with Bollywood’s latest size zero actress Katrina Kaif.
It also isn’t palpable whether Priyanka, fondly referred to as PC, desires a husband from the Hindi film industry or seeks a partner completely disconnected from Bollywood.
If the marriage of Priyanka materializes in the near future, it will be a rather courageous decision since she is currently at the zenith of her film career. Bollywood has traditionally been referred to as an industry, which overlooks and forgets married actresses.
If Priyanka ties the knot at this stage, it will remind us of Kajol, who wedded Ajay Devgan in February 1999, after having an extraordinarily successful 1998 with four hits, the biggest being ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hain’. However, a silver lining is that Kajol has worked in some successful films even after her marriage. May be, that is a sign of the changing beliefs in Bollywood.
