The most important announcement being that he managed to hold his temper and put box office first, and so not fire Megan Fox. Despite the fact that public annoyance over her rants seems to have been a factor in Jennifer’s Body being a box office bomb, it still makes financial sense to keep her in Transformers 3. She’ll bring the fan boys, who’ll get to making wet spots in the movie theatre like they’ve sprung a leak. No other actress, hired only for her looks, is going to pull that off in quite the same way.
P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you. Pain and Gain is right after shooting of Trans 3. Michael. (via NY Mag)
Transformers 3 will be release on July 1, 2011, instead of 2012, as expected.
